Dear Members and Friends:
The San Francisco Chronicle each year presents its selection of the top 100 wines, highlighting the top ten as selected by their panel of experts. Chairman Jake Rudisill, of the East Bay Branch, and I have been considering a joint event for some time. After reviewing the Chronicle list I called Jake proposing this outstanding opportunity to hold a joint event and he enthusiastically agreed.
Last year we held a perfectly executed event at Moose’s, and are returning to present this outstanding selection of wines. We have not tasted the Chronicle selections, and are very much looking forward to testing their choices. Since Moose’s features local small-farm organic dishes we are working with the Chef to create an exciting menu to pair with these featured wines.
